Making life easier for our customers is one of our goals here at Trigram Software. If we are providing good software that has excellent functionality, then we should be approaching that goal. However, we also want to create things that you may not think about in your daily routine, but that will ultimately increase your productivity or that of your staff. With that in mind, we are working on an online scheduling system that will allow your patients or new prospective patients to schedule themselves online during your open time slots.
Our thought on this is that if your patients can schedule themselves, they spend less time calling the office to complete a routine task and you may even be able to see more patients as some who would not call because they don’t have the time will just simply look at the schedule and make the appointment for themselves. From there, it will be connected to your AcuBase Live calendar which will provide an automated e-mail reminder to that patient. We are also building into the online schedule a text box that will allow patients to say what they are coming in to have treated. Hopefully this will allow you to know the exact questions you need to ask in a follow up call and save the time of navigating several questions that ultimately can be determined online.
We also feel that if we can combine a feature like this with our service, it potentially means you do not have to have several vendors for day to day features. For those of you using scheduling services, this feature should not only save you time, but also money on a monthly basis for not having to purchase separate services.
