Patient Information and Billing Software Overview

The Patient Record and Information database was designed by practitioners around the way a clinic typically functions. It integrates data from throughout AcuBase Pro, and includes great features such as:

Patient List
All screens in AcuBase Pro are designed with ease-of-use in mind. Each section (Patients, Invoices, Reports, Inventory) starts out with a list. Sort by any field and choose what you want from the list to see more details.
Patient
The patient screen gives you access to all patient-specific data through each of the gray tabs: Overview (general information); Case Details (specifics of patient’s payment information); Billing (a list of each invoice in date order); Appointments (past and future); Activities (SOAP notes, reminders, emails, electronically-attached files, etc.); and Forms (unlimited customizable marketing documents).
Invoices
Up to 3 insurance companies per invoice, with simplified, automated data entry, superbills, CMS forms, and free electronic billing. The fastest, easiest invoice creation program on the market.
  • General patient information and electronic medical record information, including photos, appointment history, patient notes and attachments, billing history, email and more
  • Multiple cases, up to three payors (such as insurance companies) per case, and links to referral sources
  • Auto-enter diagnosis (ICD-9) codes, which may be sorted by diagnosis or by code
  • Track all intakes and activities related to each patient, such as calls, faxes, e-mails, office visits, progress reports, and custom forms
  • Create letters to new patients and referral sources as you enter patient data. Create as many different kinds of forms and letters as you wish using the fields in the software
  • Generate regular Superbill invoices, HCFA 1500 forms, or do electronic billing with virtually any clearinghouse from your Mac or PC
  • Use the Payment Entry screen to do line-item payment entry when you receive payments from insurance companies
  • Use the new AutoBill feature to do all of your medical billing with no data entry at all. Simply set up medical billing preferences for a given patient and click a button to do their billing
  • Use the new Invoices section to create invoices for anyone, and keep track of invoices separately or together with patient medical records. General and detailed invoice screens give you just the information you need
  • Bill for products, such as herbal formulas or supplements, and have those products automatically adjusted in your Inventory database
  • Enter data for CMS 1500 forms directly onto the form
  • One invoice may be changed into a Superbill or a HCFA 1500 form with no additional data entry
  • Use the CMS Preview screen to see what your invoice will look like when printed onto a CMS 1500 form
