AcuBase Pro Hardware and Software Requirements

To run AcuBase Pro, you need the following minimum hardware and software:

Macintosh

• 32-bit machine only
• Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G3, G4, G5 processor or Intel processor
• 256MB of RAM
• CD or DVD drive and hard disk drive
• PowerPC processor requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or 10.4.5 (Tiger). Intel processor requires Mac OS X 10.4.5

Windows

• 32-bit machine only
• Pentium III 500MHz or higher
• 256MB of RAM
• CD or DVD drive and hard disk drive
• SVGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution video adapter and display
• Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4), Windows XP, or XP Professional Edition (Service Pack 2).

Networking

• Networked versions require a TCP/IP network.
• Networked versions require that each workstation have a copy of FileMaker Pro 8.5 or later installed on it. You will run AcuBase Pro from within FileMaker Pro. For more information on where and how to purchase FileMaker Pro, go to http://www.filemaker.com.
• If you have purchased a license for up to 10 users, AcuBase Pro can act as a host for up to five concurrent users at a time.
• If you have purchased a license for up to 250 users, you will also need to purchase FileMaker Server 8 or FileMaker Server 8 Advanced. For more information on where and how to purchase FileMaker Pro, go to http://www.filemaker.com.
