__I saw the full-page ad on these in the new issue of BP magazine and put it on my list of things to check out - until now! What caught my attention was that they looked like the old tube amps, of course. I was at first shocked by the price of $799 for the TV Ten. Where are these made? Corona Ca? I doubt it, but I could be wrong. So, if they’re made in Mexico, why are they so expensive? I think Fender is too busy managing all their other brands to come out with something good. What was the other “new” line that just came out - Road Worn series guitars - where they build a guitar/bass and then beat it up - and charge $1250 street - and they ARE made in Mexico - say ***?! Save up and buy a Sadowsky or Nordy - seriously. But back to Fender amps - I haven’t owned a Fender amp since 1979 when I started playing bass. I had a Bassman 135 with a 2x15 cabinet for about a year and then quickly switched to an Acoustic 220 with a 406 215 cabinet because the Fender couldn’t cut it. Leo was the man. Fender today is crap.
