Do New GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Standards Apply to Your Supplements?

I was recently at a Chinese medicine seminar with Giovanni Maciocia in San Francisco, and got to talking to a few other colleagues, one of whom was Bill Helm of Crane Herbs (http://www.craneherb.com).  Bill alluded to the fact that all practitioners would soon need to be in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); that their herbal medicines would need to meet GMP standards.  I’ve since done a little bit of Web sleuthing and haven’t found much, save this article from another herb company (Pacherbs.com).  If anyone out there knows of what I speak, please email us at , or, better yet, leave us a comment below.
